Morning Gauntlet

This was the view from our driveway this morning (and also Friday morning). Since early October, the One And Only Road leading to our house has been undergoing extensive destruction to facilitate new water and sewer lines. And while I appreciate the upgrades, it has been pretty inconvenient - especially since we are the very last house at the end of the One Road. So far I have had two flat tires, a damaged wheel well (to be fair it the repairs were paid for by the contsruction company), and a disasterous near accident (I had the flu, was trying to get home to make it to the bathroom, and had to wait while they covered 3 huge holes in the middle of the road). The word is that it's all supposed to be done by the end of July - which is tomorrow. I think the chances are slim, but I do still carry hope in my heart.

Next question, when will our One Road be repaved so I no longer have to use my extreme offroading driver skills?
