So, it's not really our first snow in Frederick. That was about a week or so ago. But it is what I consider our first real snow. To me real snow means that it's cold outside - cold enough that the snow is light and fluffy, and stays on the ground without becoming an icy crunchy melted mushpot. That kind of snow happened late last night, and I am pretty darn happy about it. I'm also happy that Dave has become Canadianized - the evidence lies in the pictures I took this morning after I finished shoveling the driveway and he finished cleaning off the greenhouse. Beamish (black kitty) likes the snow too. What I'm not happy about is that we didn't get the day off work. I mean, snow days have been given when not a drop of snow has touched the ground...why can't we have one today? Then i would be able to stay home and make snow people...
