Feet

Just Restin' My Feet: oil pastel on paper

What I really wanted to do for this Illustration Friday topic (but of course I just have not had the time) was to illustrate my long standing aversion to sleeping with my feet dangling off the edge of the bed. This dates back to a childhood nightmare I had about my feet being attacked by the "under the bed monster". Since that day, I am VERY careful to wrap my poor defenseless feet with my covers to make sure no volnerable parts show. That is going to make a GREAT illustration one day...

It is very important to make sure no "volnerable" parts show. It is equally important to make sure no vulnerable parts short.

I like the very sketchy and restrained quality of the illustration...really adds to the relaxed mood. Nice job!

I can't imagine not having your feet dangling off the bed. If you lay on your stomach then the tips of your toes can point down and be at a 90 degree angle which is the body's norm.
