ART-INI (The Arts Gala)

Well, a good time was had by all (I think) at ART-INI. This is a benefit gala where all proceeds benefit the Frederick Festival of the Arts. This years theme was the "martini", and boy did they have some good choices. Dave jammed on me (something about practicing his talk, but word is he had the guys over to watch basketball), so Jen was my date. Here we are modeling by Ellen's auction donation, "The Yellow Dress". It went for a pretty good price - yay Ellen.

We had some pretty entertaining table companions. We had the ill supermodel mom, the full frontal family, a notorious artist with a few arch enemies, a super secret agent, and our very own Tina Turner impersonator. For once, I was the most normal person in the vicinity - very scary. I also learned that some places are just not good for joking about plastic surgery...

And though I had sworn off alcohol (and Starbucks) for the month of March, I decided that the Gala would be the notable exception...(actually, the bottle was empty and I was just goofing around - honest!)
