I believe in the power of the birthday as an important cultural event. It's the one day that is completely yours (except for the millions of other people who also share your birthday, but usually you don't know them so it doesn't matter). It's the day you are appreciated for all your fine qualities, and all your bad qualities are ignored. It is also a day that paints a perfect bulleyes on your back for some good ol' humor.
Last Friday the web team acknowledged this important milestone for three of our members (they were forced to share, but hey - February is a short month and buying cake and pizza EVERY Friday can be a bit much). My designer personality decided we needed to acknowledge our co-workers with much more than just cake, and so I spent my time preparing the following examples of high art.
For Zach [edit stuff and removal of pic] . For Brian [more edited stuff and removeal of pic] . But for our manager, Galen, I decided that what we really needed was good 'ol demotivational poster (for we have all seen the wonders of Despair, Inc.). Who said work can't be fun?.
[final removal of pic - sigh]

Did you get these people permission before posting there pictures?
Blatant censorship. Some people have no appreciation for true art.
