I know - things have been busy and I haven't posted for a while. But I really wanted to get back into Illustration Friday. The topic "stitch" reminded me the obsession I had for a while with crosstitch. I always had this grand vision of creating my own wild pattern that would amaze and confound my friends and family. However, I soon discovered my boredom threshold...while I liked the idea of stitching, I would become tired of whatever pattern I was working on and start a new one. I now have about 7 large unfinished projects that have been sitting around for about 2 years.
I like the Illustrator/PhotoShop method better. More instant gratification.
